Psychotherapy with couples
Psychotherapy with couples can be used from the beginning to the end of a couple relationship and at any time during the relationship. Sometimes people feel they don’t really know what makes a relationship and it can be very helpful explore ideas and feelings in a non judgemental environment with a therapist trained to think with them about these issues. At other times, a couple may be drawing apart, and need some space to try to resolve what is going on in the relationship. Very strong and complicated feelings can happen in the life of a couple, particularly under stress, and a therapeutic space can help both to understand and express those feelings.
